Trisha Fulwiler, CIC, CRM

Trisha joined the agency in 1990 with a strong background in sales. As President of JD Fulwiler, Trisha oversees the day-to-day operations of the agency. She is passionate about helping our customers grow and protect their business and personal assets as well as the organic growth of our agency. She holds her Certified Risk Manager, CRM designation and Certified Insurance Counselor, CIC designation. Trisha has two daughters and three grandchildren and married her husband Ed in 2014.

Little Known Fact | Trisha skied competitively during college and still hits the black diamonds regularly!

Scott Wilcox

Vice President – Sales Manager and Business Development | Vancouver, WA

Scott joined the agency in 2008. As Vice-President, Business Development and Sales Manager, he is in charge of sales activities for the commercial and employee benefits departments. Scott is responsible for coordinating our insurance carrier relationships and remains actively involved in sales and risk management for our commercial clients. A graduate of Oregon State University, Scott has two children who are “finally” out of college.

Little Known Fact | In his free time, you can find Scott on the golf course or smoking a cigar – or both!

Bari Smith, SHRM-CP, CPSP

Director of Operations | Portland, OR

Bari joined JD Fulwiler in 2001 and currently oversees operations for both of our office locations! She has over twenty years of experience and a strong background in commercial insurance. She is married and has three children, two of whom are in college!

Little Known Fact | Bari loves to cook and recently decided she needs to spend more of her free time traveling!

Ashley Barto

Director of Marketing | Portland, OR

Ashley graduated from University of Portland with degrees in business marketing and operations & technology management. She joined JD Fulwiler in 2011 with four years of marketing experience. Ashley works closely with all of our departments to maintain our brand consistency and support sales and prospecting activities.

Little Known Fact | Ashley spends all her free time outdoors camping/fishing with her husband and chasing their three kids around.

Sue Morell, CIC

Director of Commercial Lines | Portland, OR

Sue joined JD Fulwiler in 2007 with a strong background in commercial & personal insurance as well as employee benefits. Sue oversees our commercial lines department and holds her Certified Insurance Counselor, CIC designation. She loves being part of the JD Fulwiler team.

Little Known Fact | Sue loves riding horses and attending hockey games.

Susan Taylor

Employee Benefits Manager | Vancouver, WA

Susan joined JD Fulwiler in 2017 after 11 years at a large global brokerage firm, where the majority of her tenure was focused on brokering services and program management of association health plans.  She oversees our employee benefits department, including our trust management team.  Susan loves to learn and is motivated by providing effective solutions to complex client needs.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Portland State University in Business Administration and Supply and Logistics Management.

Little Known Fact | Susan was one of five valedictorians of her graduating high school class and she will dump all the money in her purse into a jukebox if she can find one.

Tracy Lovette

Personal Lines Manager | Vancouver, WA

Tracy joined JD Fulwiler in 2020 with many years of experience to manage the personal lines department. Protecting people in the event of a loss and educating them on the importance of coverage, not only price, is a passion. She loves developing relationships with clients from prospect to family and maintains relationships with some of her first accounts to this day!

Little Known Fact | Tracy loves spending time with her extended family and hosts Sunday dinner’s most weekends to keep in touch with her grown up kids and nieces!

Faith Harbert

Accounting Manager | Portland, OR

Faith joined JD Fulwiler in 2023 to oversee the accounting department. Faith has 25 years of accounting experience primarily in the automotive and motorsports industry and is excited to no longer be inhaling exhaust fumes while working on financial spreadsheets. Faith has three amazing children, an amazing husband and a rowdy little dog.

Little Known Fact | Faith loves all kinds of fishing and to date her biggest catch is an 8ft 100lb marlin off the coast of Mexico. She cannot wait for her next adventure to catch more!

Mike Bliss

Director of Information Technology | Portland, OR

Mike has degrees in both business administration and international studies from Oregon State University. He has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology and has worked for independent agencies since graduating college. Mike has been with the agency since 2008 and is licensed in both P&C and Life & Health. Mike loves to travel abroad and experience new cultures and local cuisine.
